Toile Indienne’s tribute to Padma Bhushan B V Doshi, outstanding architect and recipient of the Pritzker Architecture Prize, 2018.
The Collection is built by fusing elements from Doshi’s architecture, revealing the geometrical abstraction inherent in them, with a Cubist and mid-century modern exploration of form and a modernist colour palette. The designs hint of the art of his mentor, Le Corbusier.
The Collection is the winner of the prestigious Elle Deco International Design Award India 2019 for Fabric Design.
